The labyrinth that we designed for Barretstown is to make it's TV debut on a new show on RTE 2 called Do The Right Thing that will be screened on Tuesday the 7th September at 10pm. More details here...

We are delighted to have won a Silver medal for our showgarden "the VSO dollar a day garden" at Bloom in the park, 2010. The garden was designed to highlight the important work that the VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) are undertaking in sub-Saharan Africa to increase food production and train people on improved nutrition and farming techniques.

April-May 2010: Tim Austen, for the show as Bord na Móna's Growise designer, joins fellow judges Gary Graham (Bord Bia) and Paddy Gleeson (Woodies) to determine the winner of this year's Supergarden being screened on RTE 1, starting on the 5th May, 2010 and running for six episodes.

November 2009 - Austen Associates received the best new business runner-up prize in the Wicklow Chamber Business Awards 2009. They were also one of six companies shortlisted in the best small business category.

16th October 2009 - Austen Associates received an ALCI (Association of Landscape Contractors of Ireland) Award of Merit for the design of a private garden in Wicklow Town.

May 28th 2009 - The practice has been awarded a Gold Medal and Winner Best in Category Award at Bloom 2009 for our large show garden "The Garden Lounge".

May 2009 - Construction of our Bloom 2009 showgarden, "The Garden Lounge" commences on the 6th May. The show will be open from the 28th May to the 1st June inclusive in the Phoenix Park.

April 2009 - We have completed construction of our permanent show garden "Riverside Retreat "at the National Garden Exhibition Centre in Wicklow.

May 2008 - Tim Austen has been awarded a Gold Medal at Bloom 2008 for the design of his large showgarden "Inspiration from Mount Usher". The garden, which was constructed by Plants and Planters Landscape, was also voted "People's Choice" by visitors to the show.
